Planning a fence refresh
The condition of the timber and its previous treatment matter as much as the colour. A finish is not a substitute for dealing with unsound timber.
What we will ask you
- What timber and previous treatment are present, if known?
- How many panels or surfaces are included, and what are their dimensions?
- Is there decay, damage, unstable support or restricted access?
What might belong in the pack
- A compatible exterior timber finish after a condition check.
- Suitable application and preparation tools.
- Protection for adjacent surfaces and planting, with access and weather considered.
When a closer look is needed
Rot, unstable panels or supports need a repair assessment. Product coverage and suitable application conditions must come from the selected finish; the assistant should not invent them.
