DECORATING
Planning to paint a room
A good finish starts with knowing what is underneath it. Before choosing a colour or a quantity, describe the walls, their condition and the result you want.
What we will ask you
- Which walls, ceiling or woodwork are included? Give lengths and heights with units, and note large openings.
- Is the existing finish sound and dry? Mention stains, peeling, previous repairs or a leak, even if you think it has stopped.
- What finish would you like, who uses the room, and can the furniture be moved?
What might belong in the pack
- A compatible paint and preparation system, selected after checking the surface.
- Brushes and rollers suited to the coating; keep suitable tools you already own.
- Furniture covers, floor protection and appropriate masking.
When a closer look is needed
Recurring staining, damp, damaged substrates or an unknown coating need clarification before preparation or decorating. Photos can help a reviewer ask better questions; they do not prove a wall is dry or safe.
Turn the idea into your own project
Tell us the outcome you want, show the current condition and mark the tools you already own. Your draft list stays beside the conversation. Confirm the plan and pack together. Product, quantity and pricing checks come before ordering opens in your project.
