FURNITURE
Planning a furniture refresh
Different surfaces can look similar in a photo. Knowing whether a piece is solid wood, veneer, laminate or something else changes the preparation and finish.
What we will ask you
- What is the piece made from and which finish is on it now?
- Which parts are being changed, and are any joints, edges or surfaces damaged?
- How will it be used and what appearance and durability are you aiming for?
What might belong in the pack
- A compatible preparation and finishing system.
- Application tools matched to the selected finish.
- Protection for the work area and a suitable space for the product’s use and drying requirements.
When a closer look is needed
Unknown older coatings and delicate surfaces need assessment before abrasive preparation. Structural repairs, valuable pieces and uncertain materials should be reviewed before choosing a method.
