DECORATING
Planning decorative wall panelling
Plan the layout and wall condition together. Panelling changes edges, sockets and clearances, so a simple sketch can prevent missing details in the materials list.
What we will ask you
- Give wall dimensions, the desired layout, and the positions of openings and existing fittings.
- What is the wall made from, and is it dry, sound and reasonably even?
- Which panel material and finish do you want, and which edges will remain visible?
What might belong in the pack
- Panels and trims based on an agreed layout.
- A compatible fixing or adhesive system after the substrate and services are checked.
- Suitable finishing materials and protection for the work area.
When a closer look is needed
Do not conceal damp, cover required ventilation or alter electrical fittings as part of a decorative workaround. Unknown services, substrates or clearance issues require review.
Turn the idea into your own project
Tell us the outcome you want, show the current condition and mark the tools you already own. Your draft list stays beside the conversation. Confirm the plan and pack together. Product, quantity and pricing checks come before ordering opens in your project.
